Once upon a time…

There was a brilliant and beautiful lady from Couva, Trinidad. Her superpower? Making Biology come alive with the kind of magic you don’t learn in textbooks 💪. She was already a queen of her own kingdom, but when a hero teams up with another, they become unstoppable. One October day in 2022, the Biology Tutor called on the one person who could bring the math to her science.

The universe was working overtime that day. Mister Fantastic had no clue he was WhatsApping his very own Sue Storm.

“If a value is clearly an outlier”, he messaged, “it should be ignored as it will negatively affect the results”. The Math Tutor was dropping knowledge. But little did he know, he wasn’t just sparking equations — he was setting the stage for something explosive.🤯

Months rolled by, and fate gave them another chance. Thanks to a mutual friend (bless them! 🙏), the two tutors crossed paths once more. This time, though, their feelings weren’t outliers— they were the main event. They couldn’t ignore it. Voice notes? Sweet. Video calls? Essential. Texts? Sent with that special feeling of anticipation that only a few long-distance lovers know.

But with 4500 miles between Oxford and Trinidad, their hearts were aching. Enter: Geneva, August 2023. Two days that felt like an eternity. It was magic. It was destiny. When the Biology Tutor saw him off at the train station, she knew. The Math Tutor, too, felt the certainty deep in his bones.

2024 hit hard. They were crisscrossing the globe now — from Trinidad to the UK. Friends and family met the ones destined to be in their lives forever. The Biology Tutor couldn’t wait to taste real jollof rice and drop a few lines in Igbo (with varying levels of success, of course). The couple had big plans to hit Nigeria, but first… the Math Tutor had to complete his mission.

April 2025. By now, Mister Fantastic had calculated everything in his mind, but no formula could predict this moment. It was God’s plan all along. Not a single rainstorm, bad service, or inconvenient timing could stop what was meant to be. Everything had led to this one sunrise, on top of a hill, with the world below them. The Math Tutor took a knee. The woman of his dreams, the one who had forever captured his heart, said yes without hesitation, without a second thought.

After a whirlwind of letters sealed with wax, flowers sent from across the sea, and every moment of longing between them — the Biology Tutor was ready to marry the man who had made her believe in love like never before.

Some say good things come to those who wait, but the truth? This story could only come from the One above. Every step was guided by faith, and every blessing a gift.
