When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by February 13th, 2026

Can I bring a date?

We know you want to spread the joy and love. However, only guests with a +1 on their invite can bring one. Thank you for your understanding! 🥰

Are kids welcome?

We love your kids! However, if they have not been officially invited, we will not be able to include them in the festivities. Please reach out if you have questions on temporary childcare!

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to Trinidad and Tobago, all of you out-of-towners! This is a beautiful, tropical country.

  • Temperature: Expect high temperatures averaging around 30-31°C (86-88°F) during the day, occasionally reaching as high as 33°C (91°F). Nighttime lows are a comfortable 22-25°C (72-77°F).
  • Rainfall: April is a relatively dry month, with an average of just 6 rainy days and around 45-64 mm (1.8-2.5 inches) of total monthly rainfall. The chance of a wet day does increase towards the end of the month as the rainy season approaches in May.

So, make sure to dress in light (colour and thickness) fabrics during your stay here. Additionally, wear sunscreen and have an umbrella nearby when you are out and about.

Where should I park?

There will be a parking attendant at the venue. Please be guided accordingly.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes. However, please note that the ceremony seating will be on grass.

What should I wear?

The ceremony will be outside and on a hill. At 4pm the month of April can see temperatures between 28°C and 31°C (or 82.4°F and 87.8°F). The hill will bring some lovely breezes but still dress accordingly for the outdoor ceremony and the reception which will be held in an air-conditioned room.

Light colours and fabrics are advised, as well as sensible shoes for the grass. You can also feel free to come in some Nigerian garb 😊

Long story short? Semi-formal with optional Nigerian touches 😊

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in an auditorium at the same venue.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. You'll be walking and standing in a grassy area, so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our Joy website.

However, when taking pictures please try not to be in the way of our photographers.

Also, please refrain from sharing pictures that include the bride and groom on social media. We would like to share pictures of us first :D

How do I access the live stream?

To all our guests who are joining online, we are so happy to have you! You mean a lot to us ❤️ The link to the live stream will be uploaded closer to the wedding date. You will be notified how to access it at that time.

What time should I arrive?

The wedding ceremony starts at 4 pm. We would like guests to arrive from 3:15 onwards to accommodate smoothing parking and facilitate pre-ceremony activities (picture taking and guest signing). Please be seated by 3:50.

Is there a gifts registry?

Yes there is. Please navigate to the Registry tab on our website. If it's not there, we have not released the registry yet.

What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Between these two segments we welcome guests to partake in the Refreshments and Activities portion of the day.

Online participants, you can also take part online. So, grab a drink and enjoy!

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Please refrain from wearing white or cream.

I have a question not answered here; how do I contact you?

You can feel free to send the bride or groom a WhatsApp message.
